I’ve just seen this ridiculous video on YouTube. Colin McRae driving through huge crowds. He could easily have killed 20 spectators. Im amazed the organisers even allowed the cars through at speed. It should have been neutralised. How can a driver be expected to zone that out?
You can see how he ended up crashing his helicopter with friends onboard, if this is how you lived your life, with practically zero consideration for safety.
Has anyone noticed recently that it is in vogue for F1 drivers to be photographed in some clenched fist pose.
I can only conclude...
A) they're getting ready to arm wrestle.

The footage looks oddly smooth from inside the car - almost like a computer game superimposed upon a crowd.Different times. Every competitor on that rally would have done the same thing. In fact that looks quite tame compared to some old rally stages where people would try to touch the cars as they passed.
