Babygirl at the cinema. Wasn't my choice but was the only film that worked for timings.
Absolute rubbish. Surprised people didn't walk out in it. Nicole Kidman needs to take some time off from the Botox etc etc and take a break from being a film star. Also the story was bobbins. And inadvertently hilarious.
Avoid.

Number 24, courtesy of Netflix.
Norway under Nazi occupation and one mans fight as part of the resistance.
It flits between him recounting his experiences in his old age to the younger generation and himself as that young man.

Interestingly part of his story comes back to haunt him when he meets one of those younger generation.

A very good watch. 1hr 52 mins iirc, a little thin on detail when he's a young man, doesn't go into great detail but very good all the same.

Eraserhead...perhaps THE weirdest and yet strangely captivating film i ever watched

My wife never tires of telling people that I took her to see Eraserhead on our first date. I'm not sure that's technically true and I'm not sure what defines a "date". It was pretty early on though and maybe not the best choice.

Just started watching 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' again.
Even of 1963 vintage, with the unquestionable quality of the top notch cast and script, it's become a classic. ^_^
