Playing for a draw?

To be honest, seeing him play against us it was clear he'd been having regular attacks of the munchies.

@PaulSB I am not happy with your lot.
We loan you a young player and not only do you allow him to get bitten by a Preston player but he then gets red carded for his reaction.
It is now being reviewed.
I expect the guy who bit him to get a lengthy ban and the red card rescinded.
But who knows

The fan-owned club I support has had just the pitch knackered by flooding, the day before we were due to host Newcastle United from that English Premier League wot I hear so much about. A supporter set up a just giving page to raise a few quid to help with the cost of repairs and a ground share while they happen. I’ve just seen Pearson in the list of donors ❤️
Next time I need some bike bits I’ll head out their way.

A small consolation but at least you got to hammer team franchise before the pitch got knackered.

I do apologise Dave. I'll have a word with the manager.

One thing though. Locally PNE are known as the nob enders...........last Sunday proved the point 👍

Rovers kept up our very good start to the season with our fourth straight home win and third consecutive clean sheet. After last week's very poor performance at Deepdale against 10 men we've clearly learned a lesson. QPR played the whole of the second half with ten players. Rovers pressure was relentless, scored two good goals and could have had six.

My first sight of Todd Cantwell. Looks good to me. After reading some of the vitriol coming from Ibrox we have to wait and see. He wanted to be involved in everything, created two great chances, one of which gave Batth his goal. With more composure, Cantwell should have scored our third. Happy with that.

I see Utd are getting stuffed at home.......again. You have to wonder how long ten Hag can carry on finding excuses and keep his job?

For the amount he's spent it's not great.

The problem they have is Fergie. As great as he was the club are in a mess because of the sway he still holds over it.
Indeed. Given the state of the club when he took over, and even during his time (given the Glazers' years of waste), he worked miracles. Fergie needed time to turn it around, nearly got the sack himself, but…well, history. Whereas the string of replacements have either not had the time, or had it , and lots of money of course, and wasted it. And it's not just the waste on the pitch. Why has the biggest club stadium in the country, with packed houses every match, and a club with huge revenues, got a leaky roof?
