As long as I breathe, I attack.
Yesterday with the headwind it took 49 mins to get home, today even with roadworks and a horse it took 37 mins

FD on the commuter has seized , i can just about get it into the big ring using both hands , i have ordered a replacement and i need to find a better mudgaurd as the current one lets the crud get on it as the bit that protects the FD is not wide enough to use with 28s

Minding my own business on the main road this morning, when a taxi on the side road decides to pull out to turn right in front of me. Dopey cant driver decides to give me a 'thank you' hand gesture when he's nearly knocked me off. I shouted at full volume 'wtf, just wtf you doing?' Unfortunately I think I scared the carp out of the teenage students nearby. Anyway that shout did me some good, very cathartic.

Well, in work, in the van. Reminds me of why I cycle, but needs must. Took longer in the van.

90 minutes to drive under 10 miles in to work. Left early this evening, still took an hour. It's mind numbing. Only saving grace, this car does my Amazon tunes, so I can select anything and just sit there bopping rather than get stressed. A fellow cycling colleague saw me on crutches as she was getting in the lift with her Brommie. She'd already heard I'd come off. I just said 'it happens, would still rather ride than the car' - she said, I could be killed cycling home and at least I did what I enjoy. And that's from someone who is a utility cyclist.

Update, two physio's at work prodding and poking for an hour today, and a referral to another colleague who is a 'consultant level' person. Erm, we reccon you've got a hairline fracture in your lower pelvis checking where the pain is and all the the tests we did. It's not the muscle soreness that's causing the intense pain.

Blooming bargain for £30 as a student did the physical side for most of it, and then a few final tests from a member of staff after the diagnosis. The 'consultant' bloke is someone I know who is a back expert and he knows my history well being a 'colleague'.

I can't imagine how utterly horrible that must be... worst mine got was 90 mins for 20-odd miles and that made me want to kill myself and everyone around me
