Far better than expected, a little damp, a little blowy but nothing special. Too warm for the full waterproofs I was wearing.
Yup; Altura Hurricanes.did you wear gloves too? i still need gloves with bar mitts
Yup; Altura Hurricanes.
I've had Raynaud's Disease in my hands and feet for as long as I can remember. I'm now 70 and just retired, so I can now choose not to go out in very cold conditions as oppose to having to commute in them.
However, As I've alluded to in various posts, I've never been able to find any glove or glove and liner combination that actually works for me.
But there are fellow sufferers who get the issue triggered simply by handling something cold e.g., frozen peas, but such has never happened to me.
Did try a pair many years back. Very bulky, using D batteries; not much help. But as I've alluded to, now I'm retired I can now choose not to cycle in very cold conditions - !Heated gloves next, mate. Worth a try.

A pair I bought at a cycle rally about 25 years ago, but now well out of production. Pity, as apart from not being much good in the very cold, they were a good and serviceable glove which lasted me for many years commuting.i had to google, cant even find altura hurricane gloves
Apparently it's half term, roads are empty. Still clear and should have been great riding conditions across a nice dawn, but my legs had Monday morning feeling in them instead.
In Bromley we have 2 weeks half term this time of year. Love it.
Neighbouring local authorities often stagger their school holiday dates. Our kids are off next week.
