It wasn't me

OK OK OK - in a previous career that was only because I worked on systems for a call centre and not something more critical

but our office wasn't referred to as "Marlborough Country " (wide open and full of cowboys) for nothing!!!!

(note - same senior manager who coined that phrase told me some years later that making me redundant was the dumbest thing he had ever seen becuase I was one of the few people who he knew he could depend on to get things done!!!)

Maybe not on that scale but in my telephone system programming days, I did once or twice take down a customer's system. Those damned software glitches. :whistle:

Yes - I certainly never crashed a whole Customer Service centre (of over 5000 people) by leaving some software connected to my office computer and accidentally knocking the power to my computer off by leaning back on my chair

no idea how that happened

and that database corruption that happened when my boss and I were configuring a new system - and crashed the other system every Monday for months
Nah - not us - we were 200 miles away (networks - what networks??)
