Maybe not on that scale but in my telephone system programming days, I did once or twice take down a customer's system. Those damned software glitches.
Yes - I certainly never crashed a whole Customer Service centre (of over 5000 people) by leaving some software connected to my office computer and accidentally knocking the power to my computer off by leaning back on my chair

no idea how that happened
and that database corruption that happened when my boss and I were configuring a new system - and crashed the other system every Monday for months
Nah - not us - we were 200 miles away (networks - what networks??)
