So you don't, otherwise you'd know it wasn't pence we're talking about and here's another handy hint. Do your shopping on your way to somewhere else so you don't waste fuel. Don't worry, I've got more tips, in case you're worried I've run out.
Not pennies mate 2 bottles coke ASDA £3 go to poundshop get the same size £1 each so get 3 for 2 or just save the quid many more poundshop bargains that even with 10% discount get me shopping outside asda

Most ppl I deliver to say its cheaper online less than a taxi who gets a taxi with shopping . Old dears love it right to the kitchen for a few quid and a smiley delivery man (me) who has a chat with em

I prefer Lidl over Aldi as the range is generally better, however the wine is better in Aldi.

Worth noting that Lidl have a reputation for overworking their staff. Not sure if Aldi is quite similar in that regard.

Also there seem to be a lot more Lidl stores around than Aldi ones, at least down south anyway.
My neighbour works in lidl, although she's on a good wage at £7 an hour she says they are worked very hard

NO I said I go every day...............not weekly, I don't buy and freeze bread or meat for a week, we go daily

That's fairly easy with just two of you in a household or on your jack jones. Defo not so easy with a large family, I'm not even so sure I would now change my shopping habits once the wife starts working, be more income but not about to throw it at asda or tesco!

5 here and 4 of those eat as adults!

all 4 eat as adults and when no5 is home from the army he eats as 2 so I know what you are meaning:thumbsup:

Its not cheap to feed any family, if we had Aldi nearer and Asda further away we would probably be in Aldi daily, but its the t'other way round so Asda is our choice, and we have got used to being there every day, apart from the odd day in Tesco which is a mile further but still far closer than Aldi.

I wasn't actually knocking Aldi in my first post, we only tried it once and didn't like it, it felt cramped, people were pushing us out of the way, we were trying to look at things and just getting pushed away, it was horrible, like I said, not civilised, Eileen was looking for beefburgers and found them in the fish section and had to climb over a pallet to see them, we were not impressed so simply bought the loaf and left.............and no, we wont be going back after our first venture into an Aldi

My colleague has started shopping in Aldi as they are cheaper than Tesco and she saves a lot of money every week, they are a family of 4, apparently there is very little difference in flavour regarding crisps, biscuits, juice etc... to any other supermarket

That's the very reason I don't like lidl. (Yes weird eh!) it's the same rammed with boxes and generally looks crap. My local Aldi is right across from Tesco just makes more sense got sickened with feeling ripped off. Spent 60 quid today in aldi filled 1 big Ikea bag and two Tesco big blue bags. Can tell you I would not get the same out of the big supermarkets.

The big players in my book have lost there way, and the likes of Aldi and Lidl are eating away at them.
