Aldi...........pahhhh

We have a free supermarket within walking distance, whenever we go it is just us, open 24 hrs and the food is way tastier than any you would get in the big well known supermarkets. The allotment does need a bit of elbow grease though.

My colleague has started shopping in Aldi as they are cheaper than Tesco and she saves a lot of money every week, they are a family of 4, apparently there is very little difference in flavour regarding crisps, biscuits, juice etc... to any other supermarket

No one is saying the quality is less than other supermarkets, far from it..........................yes if its closer, she will save money, but its too far away for us to shop every day so we pay the extra to shop at our LOCAL Asda as it costs less to get there......................

Go on, tilt your head!
Aldi in Fareham is ok, no more or less chavvy than Asda down the road. I don't have a problem with the produce and it's a lot cheaper than Asda on a comparative shop.

There's a few supermarket snobs on here, yet they don't know the difference between 'isle' and 'aisle'.

That and a hundred other spelling mistakes.

I haven't seen anyone being a supermarket snob or spelling aisle "isle" yet........even if anyone has made a spelling mistake, is it a crime, some people can't spell as good as others............I see no wrong in that

Not wanting to get into the grammar of things , but if I'm not mistaken There's a few supermarket snobs is incorrect .
There's is singular as in there's a fly in my soup
The correct way would be There are a few supermarket snobs because "few" indicates plural, but please correct me if I'm wrong
