Got to be honest, I grabbed the race pass just before le tour, and think it's brill ... Especially fun when riding the same climb on BRVR as the pros at the same time ... And being disappointed not to get over the top before them, even though I had a 60 minute start 😢

Yeah I had the gcn app last year (probably a few more months left on it, if not I'll get gcn plus or whatever the rebrand is). Excellent coverage and easy to chrome cast

I got the £20 Eurosport deal last year which runs until end of TDF so reluctant to pony up more money for the same races. I will wait for feedback from you guys before deciding if it’s worth it.

Wendy (my good lady) has also joined Zwift now as well as RGT.

She has started doing workouts and I'm putting some together for her as I can't find quite what I want for her. Is there a way I can automatically send the .ZWO files to her Zwift Account, or does she have to download them and copy them into her Zwift Workout directory on her Mac?

Todays plan automatically puts workouts into Zwift. Not aware of any other platforms that do it.

Edit - you’re on Windows aren’t you? Would be pretty easy to script. I’m sure someone here has already created or found a script that syncs .zwo from specified directories into the right folder in Zwift’s directory structure. @steverob maybe??

Just signed up for the GCN race pass , half price offer on , £20 for the year. Eurosport seem to be having to play second fiddle to GCN these days and not getting live coverage . Can scrolll all way back through previous races too . Just going to do a bit of zone 2 whilst watching the Middelkerke cyclocross 👍

Is there a TV app yet or do we have to cast it to the TV?

And what's wrong with CCC???

😄

I just assumed you don’t need me!

I’d happily ride for you guys to be fair.

I am trying to race more. I just did a stage of the zwift tour in cat B. I thought everyone was linked to zp now. But I guess not. Wasn’t that the plan? There were over 350 riders that started I believe. But only 160 odd riders showing in the zp results. I came 5th on the road. But 3rd on zp. Maybe some of the guys who finished ahead of me are normally cat A. It certainly felt that way on the climb. Or maybe it just suits me to think that as I was dumped pretty easily near the start of the final ascent.

I just had a closer look... The guy who finished first on ZP is normally Cat A+. And the guy in 2nd should stay by the phone to make sure he doesn’t miss the call from Dave Brailsford! So I’ll take 3rd even if my numbers aren’t that satisfactory.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the A, B etc. relates to Racing Category, I believe it just signifies a different route/number of laps. I may be wrong of course.

You’re correct martin. It determines the distance in this case. But it also means you don’t know who you’re up against Catergory wise until after the race because normal cat boundaries don’t apply. So I found it much easier when racing to assume everyone dropping me on the climb was at least A cat. Luckily this time I was right!
