On BKOOL it is relatively easy, as you have a route from A->B. It only has to record you speed, watts, time etc. at each "point" on this route.
On Zwift the system would have to save the same information, but also the exact route ridden that day, for instance A-B-C-D-E-D-E-D-E-F-G-H and then lock you onto that same route when riding against you ghost. So way more complicated and also requires some sort of UI to select to ride a previous route with a ghost.
Good point. I was just thinking if you can do that when you select route from the list and use that like flat route figure 8 or anything what is Zwift verified. But complicated as you said.

Something strange going on today with Zwift/ZwiftPower, my 11 year old daughter rode the 15:00 TDZ cat C. race on the R.G.V. course. When she crossed the finish line it showed that she’d completed the ride with time etc., but the ride didn’t upload straight away and we had to re-enter the ride to complete it ...?

On checking ZP it shows that she did ride the 15:00 TDZ but oddly in Watopia ...

It’s happened again today... ?

Just ridden the Crit City Race ( with @Whorty ) and for some reason the race didn’t upload to Strava and when I re-entered Zwift it said that I hadn’t completed my last activity, I then saved it again, but it doesn’t save it as the official race title, just Crit City......

Any suggestions would be most welcome.....:okay:

Just checked Strava and ZP and mine loaded to both. You're on ZP too. Is it Strava your ride didn't load up to?

I didn't realise you was in the race until I finished and I saw you. Probably due to the blood dripping from my eyes as I was racing :banghead:

Yeah didn't upload to Strava until I reentered Zwift to 'complete' ride.... Very strange...

I started okay but just couldn't hold the high watts long enough to stay with front group.
Lots of high numbers in ZP - though it was an anti sand bagging event...???

It was - quite a few got coned. It made I larf

I got dropped from lead group at about 10 mins. Waiting for a few chasers. Made them work ... 2 were trying to drop me, but they got coned  2 of us then went to the end where I outsprinted him.

I'm surprised more riders didn't get coned, but then it was a sub 20 minute race so that probably helped.

Just on TTTs has anyone used this?

Simple but effective if you have a well matched team, maybe worth a trial run

I saw that - it's a great idea, but personally I'm not convinced I'd want to use it because I think it's more important to have flexibility in the team and ensure that whatever happens someone is pulling hard on the front at all times. The importance of this trumps the importance of everyone sticking to their fixed turn on front (although it's obviously a good idea to start off with a clear plan).

Still, kudos to whoever made it

Yeah certainly it would only work for a very well matched team on a pretty undulating course but maybe even for the start of a TTT and some playing about with the times so that someone does 30 someone does 40 it might have a role for more teams.
Definitely wouldn't have worked for us last season as we had a lot of people with totally different rider profiles
