I ordered one of those recently @Joffey - or at least I thought I was ordering one and got four 🙈

Just a basic silicone case that I’ve found much easier to grip than the glass finish of the remote itself!

If anyone is interested in the black/green/blue then send me a PM? I’ve just looked online and can get three packets collected from me and delivered in the UK for £10 so would ask for £3.50 to my PayPal.

Unless all three go then the postage isn’t really viable, but if anyone is interested then send me a PM. Quite a few Apple TV users here so a good chance of all three going I think 🙂
I’ll have one! Don’t mind which colour.

It can help protect the cracked glass from when I dropped the slippery little fecker last time!

Personally I'm going 💩 at the moment so needless to say I can't wait! Innsbruckring is (was) one of my favourite course and have had success on it, but throw in the KOM and I'll be making up numbers in the grupetto And possible fighting again to take the lanterne rouge 😖

Any idea what is behind your dip in form? I know from experience how frustrating it can be.

how are #23 and CCC feeling about tuesday? we're all gonna die on that climb should make for an interesting race!

I like the fact that it is a bit more varied and should make it interesting. I normally like the Innsbruckring but the problem is the fact we are in a very strong league with strong riders! Typically, I have been getting dropped but then scooping up stragglers towards the end - i'm hoping to be just a touch stronger than many going up the KOM but we'll see.

Bought a second hand Apple TV unit earlier in the week, just given it its first outing. Worked perfectly and seemed so much easier than using the laptop.
Even gave my HRM a new battery to allow for good sync-ing.
Remote control is a slippery little thing, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Any tips when using ATV...?
My ATV tip for you is to use the "Menu" button on the remote at a 'back' button essentially. E.G if you go into the garage to change bikes or kit, once you're done just press "menu" until you're back to the race screen - it's much easier than scrolling to click the on-screen buttons.

Oh and I also just got a silicon case for the controller as suggested by @Norry1 the other day - not a game changer but an improvement all the same!

This is a pretty through run through using ATV as well which might be useful to watch

I raced this course last September - had a good battle with @IrishAl as we were racing for GC placing in a race series!

Firstly it took over an hour so be prepared for a long one! It will inevitably split up on the three leg snappers, but some groups may get back together on the flats in between. The final climb is brutal and 20+ minutes long. The length of it means there's potentially a lot to be gained or lost during that final climb in terms of overall position.

It's going to really hurt!!

I got some new 70mm tubs from farsport. They’re going to go on my new track bike build when the frame arrives in a couple of months. But the temptation to try them out has been too strong, so I’ve put a couple of rides in this week just around my local park. Needless to say I’m quite smitten with them.

I saw that on Strava. Nice ride in the middle of winter.

Not sure really Martin. Probably a mix of things but work has been ultra busy for me and as a consequence I haven't been sleeping the best, working later and that in turn has impacted on my motivation and energy levels. I've been following More of a structured training plan since the new year and that's helped get some focus back but the stamina and power isn't in the legs at the minute and it's been all too easy to let the bunch go when the big watts are being thrown down. Fingers crossed things will settle down at work soon and the longer evenings will allow some outdoor cycling.

Its really nice in London today. I think the whole weekend looks good actually. Then back to reality. Drizzle and a return to work Monday, after 3 weeks hiding at home. How’s Sitka Randy? Now you’ve had your injection I assume you’re running around hugging everything that’s not hibernating!

Back on the steering thing. I’ve came across this.

As a few people have commented it maybe just a coding they are protecting but still seems a bit bully boy from zwift?? Also it seems this is BLE only will this be ok for ATV users??

I guess it depends who owns the IP and the details of the commercial contract. This type of deal is quite common. What I find strange is Zwift release this, but then allow all race organisers to disable it so that it's become a white elephant.

The guy who hacked the Sterzo, said Elite at that point hadn't protected the BLE code it was using with Zwift. He was able to snoop the data packets, load them onto his Bluetooth device to control steering with keyboard keys

I would expect that the code is now freely available on the web for others to make their own steering device.
