My NEO Bike is going back to Garmin for an RMA replacement and the earliest that will be sent is 28/02 😬 Really frustrating.
So #68 may need some help in the meantime. Though on the basis of yesterday’s ride probably not too much!
That's annoying!

What's the problem Bob? I know the Kickr bike has lots of niggles too.

I find it odd that these companies can make a decent turbo, but fail to make a trainer bike

Reads low 😁😉

Resistance is fine but no longer lights up nor does it power usb sockets/fans. Possible heat/ burning smell that prompted me to stop riding. Could have been next doors cooking😁 Other users with same lights/fan problem did experience burning smell so persuaded Garmin to RMA. Worryingly the first Garmin support person I spoke to didn’t even know they sold the bike! But she proved to be very helpful.

We've already had a couple of people say they might go all out for the sprints and then just cruise the main climb. That's probably easier to do in C than in B mind you. Personally I'm going to go for a more evenly paced effort but leave enough in the tank to attack the second half of the climb and see if I can pick off a handful of riders who might have gone out too hard too early.

how are #23 and CCC feeling about tuesday? we're all gonna die on that climb should make for an interesting race!

I think my last ride on that course sums up my feelings nicely...

I am hoping for considerably improved numbers on Tuesday's ride...

Anyone like to hazzard a guess who is going to go kamikaze? If picked, will be my chance to let off some steam I think!

Looking at the schedule on the WTRL page, they have now corrected their initial error which said there was only 1 x Innsbruck Sprint as an first across line prime (it now says it will be for all 3 laps), but it still says that Innsbruck KOM is an first across line prime - which considering that's also the finish line, means essentially the winner gets an extra ten points regardless.

I can understand the KOM being on the fastest time prime list, because someone who enters the climb towards the back of the pack but then really attacks it might get the best time of the day, but first across the line seems wrong. I understand that WTRL do answer questions on Facebook (I'm not on it, so don't know), so it might be worthwhile someone getting clarification on this.

I think that's probably quite a lot of peoples plan. (I.e. its my plan ) I do think that it's a climbers day but someone with a steady strong effort could overtake a lot of busted sprinters/rouleurs and take a decent position. Need to be in draft to stay in contact though. Should be genuinely really interesting, I like that they've thrown in a proper climb even if it doesn't suit me

Going balls out those first 3 laps could see someone getting a good 2+ minutes lead over other riders as they hit the KoM .... but for that KoM, 2 mins isn't much of a headstart if you're in the red already  I can see me getting nailed on the KoM for sure, but hoping I've picked up a few sprint points first :okay:
