If you don't get around to do the "Ruins" today, I'm planning on doing it tomorrow.
I did it today Lars. Good luck on your attempt.👍

@peterob can you update my stage 3 Road to Ruins please to 56:20 :wahhey: An improvement of 90 secs ^_^

Edit: just looked at league and notice @Brusgaard was 1:35 ahead of me. I knocked off 1:31 today on my Stage 3 time. Bugger it ... lost by 4 seconds :surrender:
Good work. Don’t think I’m going to get my chance to complete stage 4 now as break in weather tomorrow so going to go out. I ll have to put the loss down to injury and look forward to next month now. C group is :boxing:

I’m hoping the first stage this month is a TT because I’m away with work all week so will miss Tue and Thu! If it’s a TT I can catch up at the weekend and hopefully still post a competitive time. If it’s a normal race then I will probably have to try and play catch-up all month!

I can't ride Tues but hopefully can do Thurs. I'm hoping for a nice flat, non-TT week so i can latch on to others to get an advantage over you

There’s a giro 25 mile race at 3pm I’m going to do if anyone fancies it. I think berty is joining too so long as they’ve let him back in the country 🤞

Pete, my Knickerbocker time is 39.13  :heat:

Cheers Carl for heads up on how punchy the route was. I planned my strategy writing down mile points where to attack and where I could get mini rests.

Pete, Greatest London flat TT --

new time also. 36.55^_^

Well that was tough. I was late in starting, so may not be credited with a time. My speed sensor battery was flat, its been sitting in a cold garage for a couple of months unused. I took it out and blew on it and it eventually registered, but it meant I was a couple of minutes late.

A dumb turbo just doesn't give any respite. Basically it was just crank at a cadence of 80-90 for over 4 hours. My quads were so sore I could barely get up the stair. 4 hours on the road is much easier!

I’d definitely agree with that. There are so many opportunities for a micro-rest on the road that just aren’t available on a turbo that it really takes it’s toll.

Just one of the reasons I love it :laugh:

congratulations @Nebulous - four hours on a turbo is a serious achievement. I think my nether- regions would say no after two!
