Bkool of old, reminds me of riding the wife's ebike. Shoot off the line with little effort and power over the lumps.

I guess they have realised that having a realistic platform is more valuable in the long run.

Its whether I can be persuaded to run 3 platforms

I asked them for a free month of premium to try out their changes since I last used it (Feb 2017), they said no. I guess I could sign up for a free trial under a new email address but don't know if that gives me premium or basic?

It could be good news. Or it could be a sign of financial struggle which could be the beginning of the end.
I guess r&d and setup of manufacturing of new products is very expensive and they have a lot of competition for trainers. Whereas a few IT developers are cheap. They still seem to have loyal following.

I wouldn’t assume anything at this point.

I wouldn’t assume they are financially stable or that they will improve generally as a result of it. Time will tell

Exactly Tommy. Hard to say what those news means at the end. By the way is there a any kind of statistic about popularity of indoor training apps. How many uses Zwift, how many Bkool sim etc.

Sorry I haven't sent out invites for the league race yet - been away for a few days and super-busy!

I will have a think about league stages and set up tonmight's and Thursdays race shortly - 7pm tonight, 6pm Thursday.

Any suggestions that are practical are welcome. Do we want to try and finish with some kind of handicap race as previously discusssed?

OK.....The final league table has been updated with the results from the catch-up rides over the weekend!

@IrishAl again sits proud at the summit of the CC league with 3 stage wins but was hard pushed, with @bridgy and @<Tommy> filling the podium places. There was a fair-sized gap between the top 4 and the rest of us also-rans.

@Del C had a strong month and continues his rise towards an (inevitable?) placement in B-cat and some strong late placings from @CXRAndy proves to be a good advert for TrainerRoad.

There's plenty of close competition up and down the league and I'm sure that'll continue in November :boxing:

Well done @IrishAl on a well deserved win - great to have you involved in the league and pushing me, Lee and Tommy even harder than usual! I'm hoping stage 4 is a sign of things to come but I'm not too confident...!

And well done to everyone who took part, particularly if you managed to do all the stages - lots of close individual battles throughout the league
