Transformer on my Neo seems to have failed. I can still use it stand alone without mains power, but you have to be pedalling when you fire up Zwift for it to detect the trainer. If it doesn't detect the trainer, your avatar just sits at the side of the road doing 0 watts and you have to exit the Sim and start again. Happened to me Thursday and yesterday, which is when I noticed the transformer light was out and no lights on the Neo unit.

I've substituted the power lead to the transformer, just to rule that out, but still no joy.

Has anyone else had a transformer fail with their Neo. Looks like I'll have to buy a replacement unless anyone has a spare they don't want?

Does anyone fancy a post rugby race this morning? There’s one at 11:15 that I think lee and me may have done a couple of weeks ago.

Check out this event on Zwift!

My legs are like poorly set jelly at the moment but I’m pretty sure I’m going to join it.

I joined at the last minute but couldn’t see any Cc’ers. I had a drop out when my WiFi disappeared for 30s and that was it. Back to my training plan.

Hi guys - I've been knocking up miles outside all summer, and dialled back quite a bit last month as a mini-break, but I'm picking up on zwift again as the weather turns worse. Is anyone doing the Giro de Rigo tomorrow?

I've been thinking about trying the full length. I've never done more than 2 hours on the turbo, and I'm at my weekend venue - so it would be a dumb turbo and a carrera bike.

Pete, my Knickerbocker time is 39.13  :heat:

Cheers Carl for heads up on how punchy the route was. I planned my strategy writing down mile points where to attack and where I could get mini rests.
Cracking time Andy 👍. Definitely a route that is best raced if you know what's coming up! Bet you're ready for a rest now

I'm hoping to re-ride Road to Ruins later today as this is by far my worst showing so far. Not expecting too much, but worth a punt.

Long sessions on the turbo can be painful. Make sure you're fully loaded with fluids and some nearby. Also have some snacks/gels handy, you'll need them.

I had a spin in the end. I’m up for racing tomorrow. If anyone picks one out they fancy and wants company let me know.

Can you get one replaced under the warranty Del?

Sometimes you can smell when transformers have burnt out by giving them a sniff.

I checked out Amazon and eBay but nothing there, so ordered a replacement from Tacx.

It's 17 months old, so I'm going to mail them later tonight and see if I can get it covered under warranty. Not sure if its 2 years or not.

If you don't get around to do the "Ruins" today, I'm planning on doing it tomorrow.
