Having been trapped at the pub for I had to partake in a extra glass.

Don't feel so clever this morning
I do the drinkin at home, it gives a better value for money...and maybe more worst hangover if you want to go that far .

Of course. You just need to be following me on the Zwift companion app - Paul Bridgman (cyclechat) - and then I'll be able to invite you. What is your name on Zwift so I can look out for you, is it also BurningLegs or something different?
Thanks bridgy, I've added you on Zwift. My username there is also BurningLegs.

Look forward to tomorrow.

You should have an invite to the meetup on its way to you now. Have you joined a meetup before? If not, you just need to accept the invite on the companion app, and then it works much like joining a race - start riding in zwift in advance of the 7pm ride time, and wait for the "JOIN MEETUP" button to appear in the bottom left of the screen - it usually doesn't appear until about 5 minutes before the event. Click on the "JOIN" button when it appears and you'll be transferred to the side of the road at the start of the route we've chosen for the meetup. See you there Thursday!

Haven't joined a meetup before but done lots of events. Sounds very similar.

Don't see an invite in the companion app at the moment- but can request a meetup with you on your profile page so looks like we are connected.

I assume there will be a notification in the companion app for the meetup invite, but there isn't one yet?

I took early retirement just so that I could cut out the working between vacations!
Hoping to fully retire by 55, and will be slowly ramping down between now and then. I'm kind of being driven by HID's health so plans are changing all the time!! Last year I went to 2 days a week (HID was on 1), then in May I went to 3 days (HID up to 3), now I'm moving to 4 days (trying to convince HID to stick at 3). I'm not happy at 4 days (obviously) but as a contractor, if the client needs the extra time it's hard to say no.

Looking forward to fully retiring so I can cycle more, even if it is only online

Was having trouble getting the app to accept your invite - think it has worked now though so check the app and let me know...

Tried the GB Kit out yesterday to check fit and ensure no rubbing points. All seems ok.
Sizing for real riders must be a bit different to my world. My top was XXL and even that is quite snug. I normally wear Large!
