Happy to re-start Thursday night meet-up races any time there's enough interest to make it worthwhile. I did suggest last week but only Tommy replied that he was up for it so we ended up doing our own thing. I can try setting one up for this Thursday though....7pm still best? (I can probably mange 6pm if needed)

I'm off to Majorca/Menorca on Thursday so won't be able to make it this or next week.

I've just rented a bike for this weekend in Majorca so I hope a couple of steady rides over there will help me find my mojo and confidence post-injury.. I expect I'll be back on the turbo when I get back as things cool down in Blighty

As it's likely still t be a relatively small turnout, shall I set it up as a TT? When there's not many riders it can often end up like a TT with riders on their own anyway (although those who turn up do get the advantage of having other riders to chase or try and stay away from), and anyone who can't make the time on Thursday can do it on their own separately if they want to...

A TT will suit me fine as I can just plod along. My preference would be 20 miles or less just because I’m not very fit at the mo and maybe with the heat that would suit most people?

I don’t mind 6 or 7pm is fine for me this week. But as a general rule I’d prefer if we stuck with the traditional 7pm slot when we hit ‘ winter race season’.

So far we have one leaving the country. One blaming the air pollution levels in his loft. One who likes to not tell anyone else he’s joining to make sure no one else turns up. And two laying claim to be the most unfit (I’m winning that one by the way mjd ).

Does that just about cover it? Yep, you can always tell when there’s a race coming up !
