That gull is either injured or of an old age. It couldn't fly. I saw people trying to catch/help it but it stayed beyond the reach.

Cycling to the station at about 06:00 this morning and a heron not only landed on the road, but it eyeballed me as I rode past about three metres away.

We were driving to my mother in law’s house this morning. This hare was in the lane, who politely trotted along and pulled in at the earliest opportunity

So last night I put the moth trap out for the first time in ages, due to catching F all!

Commuting this week, I've had the privilege of seeing bats in the street lights.
The last month, the call of a tawny owl has been a highlight. One finally introduced themselves by gliding low and just ahead of my bike, before turning left and up into the sky- a beautiful moment.

That’s always a treat when something like that happens.

Damsel Flies in the long grass at Raby Castle today, there're two of them in there somewhere. This is the closest I could get to them as they were a bit skittish.

Could be a katydid, specifically a Speckled Bush-cricket

This morning, a heron was sat on the roof of the house opposite. They make a sound that sounds like sinus trouble.

Left my trail Camera at my parents last night and to my surprise it caught sightings of a fox as well as a hog which is a regular visitor .

First time we have seen the Fox and we didn't even have any idea about one visiting but nice to see
