Getting ready for holidays I thought I would try the Panasonic LUMIX out on our Blue Tit garden visitors.

I like it a lot but I've abused the lens & pics could be sharper after 10 years

Yes it cannot be trusted. Seems to be when it cannot quite nail your location. It does spot stuff like Flycatchers in the top of the canopy that are often overlooked which is handy.

Mines a Panasonic LUMIX TZ70 bought as a family camera so simple everybody can use it it’s foolproof.

We noticed early yesterday evening that there was quite a bit of bird seed on our patio and we hadn't spilt any , so set the trail camera up to see what animals returned to the crime scene....... Expecting a little fluffy mouse so was well surprised to see this hog being the first on the scene

Not really wildlife, but still outside birds ~ our aviary Diamond Doves have reared a pair of little 'uns. First time any have hatched never mind survived as they seem to have the parenting skills of the Collared Doves that frequently nest in one of the garden trees, usually kicking the eggs out of the nest. These two are doing well though.

I have it as my bird call recall isn’t great…. But I forget to use it!

Tonight I went and sat at Warren Point for an hour watching the sea. A couple of gannets and half a dozen dolphins.
