A couple of weeks ago i put some shredded paper in our hog house and having keeping an eye the entrance ever since and yesterday i noticed that thredding had been pushed back from the entrance so thought i better position our trail camera on the entrance to see if we have a lodger and sure enough last night first picture was a hog exiting the house and quite a few more comings and goings over the night
Thank you @Dave 123, definitely an improvement. I think perhaps the main problem was the angle of the light which was always going to obscure the bird's features whatever I did.
Sometimes being too close can be a curse. I'm altogether happier with some of the images from two days ago:
But the one that becomes my background for a while is this:
I'm renaming 1 October National Nutter Squirrel day Must have seen at least 20 of the little gits, all except one that hopped into the verge / thought the better of it, however, the one that went for it, missed my front wheel, but not the rear bit of a bump, hopefully just a tail
There is a certain percentage of the membership who are getting fed up with new members posting pictures of Box moth and asking what it is.
They're more intolerant than middle aged cyclists!
Yet to check trail camera footage for last 24 hours .
But this morning our resident hog is not visible in the hog house entrance so hopefully nothing to worry about.
