Found this little chap wriggling across the shed floor this afternoon. Don't think I've seen one before. Love his/her little tail!

PS Google tells me it's a Pale Tussock Moth caterpillar (Dasychira pudibunda)

A surprise visitor to the bird feeders. It's only a brief glimpse, in the last couple of seconds

Our pet Spider has made an appearance from behind the settee this morning. We love living in a bug free home

LOVE these big house-spiders!
I lived in a rented furnished house for a few months and the big downstairs living room had a spider at each end; they'd come out at around 2am and march around, studiously ignoring each other.

I went up to Cadover Bridge this morning to look for Ring Ouzel. I did see a couple, but they were fairly distant.

The first bird I saw was a very obliging Meadow Pipit.
I also saw ravens, mistle thrush, willow warbler, coal tit, redwing and buzzard.

I also saw a herd of belted Galloway cattle and a bloke on a Fordson Major tractor. He was being pursued by friends on an International and an old Ferguson.
