I mowed the scruffy 'lawn' in front of the house and had to move some rotting logs at the edge to do so. Found these underneath, I'm assuming eggs of some sort. About 3-4 mm diameter and maybe 50 of them? Anyone able to identify them for me.

PS Google suggest they are slug eggs.

Something similar below? I've seen loads of fungi recently and am sorry to say don't know what any of them are, other than the ones shown in pictures posted on this here forum. It's one of those rabbit-hole things that can turn into an interest / journey of discovery. A bit like moths, I've had a basic moth trap out a few times and recognised a few but it's something I've never really got into ~ unusual for me as I'm always up for a new interest.

This little feller (4 to 5 inches!) flew into the shop and crashed into my toolbox yesterday. He will be visiting Frau Fritz’s kindergarten class on Monday prior to release.

And yes, he is well fed.

It always amazes me how slugs and sometimes snails are attracted to our hog feeding station when they are part of a hogs diet

Brandon hill park in the centre of Bristol. I'd startled the fox just outside St George's, a concert venue, after a gig and he'd retreated into a park. Photo's from maybe 3m away. Not a rare creature particularly in town, but still, quite close and not that perturbed. Saw a badger in same park last week, but we get badgers in our garden too

This evening I knocked up some dough to make flatbread.

once I was ready I took the cover off the bbq. I proceeded to make the bread.

As carried the plate of bread into the house I saw something on the bbq cover….. I ran in for my phone. I managed to get one picture before it audibly flew away
