Oulton; Primitive Methodist Church.

This one is kinda interesting - to me at least 🤣

In that I’ve walked past it a few times. Without so much as noticing it 🤦‍♂️ And I like to think I’m fairly observant 🙄

It clearly was a Church (Now being used as a house). As denoted by the Gable-end facade which has been left as such (albeit slightly hidden behind a hedge in my defence). But is situated in amongst a row of houses. In an area of residential dwellings. So you can also see how I missed it…..

A footnote to my post upthread about la chapelle de Ville Tual … a friend contacted someone he knew who had the key and she agreed to open the chapelle for us late last week.

Very plain 17th/18th century stone pulpit. Victorian rebuild of SE chapel.
