One Against The Wind.

Not the best production values, verging on the home movie style at times, but a good, 'based on a true,' story of a woman in Paris who organises an escape line for allied airmen during WWII.

7/10.

Just watched Kong: Skull Island. Might have to watch it again as I was doing other stuff while it was on and didn't give it my full attention. The bits I watched were okay.

Rescue Dawn.
A huge coincidence, we were sat watching it and our daughter popped up on Facebook suggesting we watch a film she is watching....Rescue Dawn.

Very good, a little too much typical American loudness and bravado but well filmed, brutal at times, harrowing and suspenceful .

8/10 perhaps.

I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang. An interesting period piece - effectively a Hollywood assault on chain gangs and, by extension, the medieval ways of the Deep South, set in the post WW1 era, long before any notion of civil rights. Looked its age, but worth the watch. PS Just went for a look on IMDB, to discover it's a true story, based on a book written by a man who escaped twice and was living in New Jersey, whence Georgia was still trying to extradite him, when the film was made.

Middling alien horror, in which some teens are terrorised by extraterrestrials. I wasn't that taken with the characters, or the ending. It passed the time, but certainly not one to seek out.

On Saturday watched Physco, first time I've seen it all the way through. Extraordinarily good. 9/10.

On Sunday- The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. An entertaining piece of frippery, James Stewart is usually good value. 6/10z

We watched Moana at child 5 and 6's insistence. I was fully expecting to have a nice little nap, but it was strangely good. I really enjoyed it.
Definitely reccomend as a family film 8/10

Watched this with the Mrs last night based on your recommendation, loved it. Cheers! :okay:

Wife & daughter watching 'Captain America; The First Avenger' on Channel 4, at the moment
I keep getting 'that look' for going in the room, just as Peggy Carter was on screen:angel:

I'm just about to go to bed, & will watch 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D' tomorrow evening, when I get home from the http://www.trunce.org/the-race-route/

I watched Captain America last night, very watchable film, Captain America : Cival War is also a good watch if you like that kind of thing!.

Quite partial to the Iron Man movies as well..
