Son Of Saul
A Hungarian language movie about a Sonderkommando during the Holocaust.

Very grim, uncomfortable viewing at times but very watchable. The main lead actor is amazingly good.

Naked Gun 2½ saw me into 2017. I'm not totally convinced by his transformation into a clumsy buffoon in comparison with Police Squad, but it still raises plenty of smiles.

Family film night, we watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Really good, classic Tim Burton. Asa Butterfield was excellent (which is no surprise if anyone has seen Ender's Game which he is also very good in)

Scary movie was Snowden, if half true the security forces are a law and executioner to themselves.

It's Oliver Stone, so as with JFK it's hard to separate fact from fantasy. Take with a big packet full of salt.
