The ‘free Corsa’ can’t legally tow this trailer fully loaded (500kg gross weight), because it doesn’t have brakes!
Mindst you, it struggles to move itself!! (sub 1.0litre/3-cylinder)

I’m not sure of the details, but worth checking if you can tow it at all. Vehicle weight limits are often defined by their Maximum Authorised Mass, which means that you can drive (or in this case tow) something that is capable of being a weight that is above your allowance.

For example, I can’t drive an empty truck that weighs <7.5T but has a MAM of above that. In this case, are you allowed to tow a trailer with a MAM of 500 kg since this is above your car’s 450 kg limit?

It's purely hypothetical, in the Corsas case, as there's no towbar on it anyway, the drawbar was stood on a set of old caravan steps for the photograph

The 'MAM', as I see it, would be a loaded weight for the car
Putting those last few shovel fulls of gravel, or bags of sand would put it over the limit

These look good, but they're not imported
Mindst you, they'd be a fair old price if they were, as they're Aus $6,000 +
I'd want the basic 'Pod', or the 'All-Roada' (as a 'bare-bones' goods trailer)
They have a nice long drawbar, it'd make for easier reversing

I've done it in the past with the Dixon-Bate on my old Discovery

Hard to do it with the Kodiaq, as it's a 'detachable', & isn't left in place

What you need is something better...... One that has ample headroom but folds so you can see behind and the (albeit small) weight is down low for when it's behind the car. It could be yours if the price is right (a lot less than 23k )

I’d say better, the panels fit properly and square.
The lights are protected if it’s stored on its end however that could be a model specific thing.
102 which is the only unloaded weight I can find is 55kg.
The 1150s is 100kg basic so add on the sides and lid it’s going to be probably 130ish.
Fully loaded with kit it’s easy to pull around by hand.
We nearly bought an Anssems but the price difference was an issue and I didn’t think the quality was hugely different.

The build-quality means no 'biscuit-tinning' like mine (or other cheaper trailers)
By that, I mean that it's twisted laterally, as happens if you get a square tin & twist in in opposing directions

The next size up unbraked Brenderup (1205?) would be nice to own, as it's 6'6" x 4'
