This is interesting, & an unusual way of getting a tipping trailer
Presumably it's filmed somewhere in Europe, going by the lighting fitted)
(French manufactured trailer?)

Great video, but now the trailer has no payload. Plus, I’d have painted all that steel.

Yes, and just to throw another spanner in the works, anything over 750kg has to be registered and MOT equivalent tested, Control Technique in France bi-annually

Friday 13th

This was only the trailers 3rd (or 4th) utilisation this year!

We had a trip up to the caravan site this afternoon, to have a check-up
It's closed for the month, to avoid being classed as 'residential', but opens for 2 Mondays this month

Our awning was fine, apart from a few leaves that had blown in, & some condensation
No snow on it either, as it's steeply pitched & an 'all-season', whether the lack of snow is due to the PVC(?) material not allowing it to settle like a duck-cotton??

However, some others weren't as lucky with the snow

I'd never have left an awning up if I was going to be away from eth 'van for more than a day or two.

Some had large branches on them. after some previous high winds

It's not just awnings that suffered in the snow, a bird collection a few miles from our house did too; https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy4p4z1vdwxo

We had another trip up to check out the caravan, after a rather snowy/frozen hard visit a couple of weeks ago

To my surprise & delight, the pump still works, after being left in the water-butt to freeze up
(I assume all the water, including what was in the pump froze/thawed at same rate?)

Another awning, close by, had suffered in the wind, maybe a large branch falling onto it

It was a bit mucky in the site too

It really should be drained down fully when left in winter, frozen water can utterly wreck caravan plumbing
