As massage person I am noticing a worrying tendency amongst the cyclists. They seem to think of safety first at all times, quite correct, but would they please take their helmets off before arriving for their massage.

I'm not servicing anymore bikes that have Shimano groupsets.

I find it demeaning

Jeeesus Christ Smokin! Whose bloody team's bikes have you been helping out with? We're a Campag team, make no mistake. Looks like one of the other teams has been getting you to work for them...you pillock! Now get thyself sorted out and keep off the brandy tonight - Walker needs his TT bike in top shape for tomorrow.

Sheesh! Shimano, I bloody ask you....

Okay, I have had a word with Cathryn's mum and she has assured me she will make sure you get to the right bikes tomorrow. Worth her weight in gold that woman she really is.

Blimey Ape, many thanks for my demotion(?) to Directeur d'Autre Affaires with Cathryn's mum as my assistante. I take it this was due to my track record on the Brazilian tour.

I'll be overseeing flapjack production from now on

I think I may be making most of the decisions if your spending time with your PA, Noodley.

May I use Cathryn's obvious talents from time to time?
Less work - more play... But if you are moaning...

Think of it like a peloton 'chasing down' rich...everyone takes their turn at the front. :becool:

Your 'continental drift' is reknowned on this forum - hence the titulation that you have earned. Not a demotion at all - more of 'progression with a downward thrust...'

Anyone given a sample yet?

Three days into the tour and we've already got a doctor who's taking the pi55...

Can we have a larger hammer for the mechanics tool kit please? It's the devils job trying to smash the cotter pins in on the TT bikes, a two pounder just isn't up to it.

And I would have a word with the people who made Walkers frame, all the paint has started to flake off round the bottom bracket. Come to think of it, the BB looks a bit of a funny shape too.

This picture shows Smokin Joe's effort at spoke straightening with the extra large hammer requested late last night - after half a bottle of Absynthie. Now, we all know that...Absynthe makes the art grow fonder... Following this effort, the Sponsors have offered S/Joe the post of Head Mechanic at Halfords, Fishguard.
He declined though, and the Halfords board are continuing to hold urgent talks whilst relaxing aboard the company yacht moored offshore
