Me neither, this is the blurb from ours:
"While the oven bakes or roasts, the special direct coating of microfine ceramic particles on its interior walls absorbs grease and residue and breaks them down through oxidation. After the oven has cooled down, grease and food stains have to be removed only from oven floor and inner door. The direct coating also regenerates every time you heat the oven, and continues to do so for the entire service life of the appliance. To remove substantial residues, simply activate the EcoClean Direct cleaning programme."
There's also a Pyrolytic function on some ovens which heats the oven to 480°C and turns all the grease / spatters to dust that you wipe away with a paper towel - allegedly 🤔

Yeah - right

Hmmm
I have never seen an oven yet with a cleaning system that works after a few roasts and a few things boiling over

I prefer ones with metal sides that I can scrub!!

I don't have an oven in my flat but we used to pay for one of those mobile oven cleaner guys to do ours. Worth every penny and it really did come up like new. Then he simply disappeared and his phone was disconnected, strange.

My daughters oven had this self cleaning function, it must take a lot of electricity to get the oven up to 450C though, and then cook for whatever time it takes.

Question?
What's the "entire service life" according to the manufacturer?

Oven cleaning is my most hated job 😀

Well we didn’t go to hill close gardens after all, as it rained all day . We did the other old person thing , we went to a farm shop. 😂 and had coffee and bacon and egg batch’s as compensation.
My only other excitement was having to pick up my daughter from rugby station . As there were very few trains running this afternoon and none were stopping at Coventry . ( Some ‘ gentlemen’ had stolen the copper wire that’s used in the signalling again ).

Good morning all. It's still dark out there.
The first mug of tea is going down nicely :cuppa:
The weather looks to be a bit cloudy and damp again.
Dog walking when it finally gets light, a bit of tidying up and then I'll be out on the bike for a while.
I will endure watching Spurs v The red team from Manchester on the telly later, as both teams are rubbish at the moment, it could either be a very good game, or utter garbage.
