Good morning all.
Well......its my birthday today. I am officially 78 yrs young.
My daughter has invited some family and friends around for a sort of afternoon tea with various sandwich type things together with scones, cream and jam.
Only one problem, she has told everyone it will be from 2 till 4
....exactly the time the match is on tv
I will have to record it and watch later.

Morning all :hello:

Weather's looking better today. Off for a walk over Staple Plain before lunch at the Railway Inn later on.
Picked up my watch to check the time and the second hand has fallen off. Gutted! It was my favourite watch - sturdy and kept good time. Suppose I'll have to buy another. It was £4.85.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Good morning all and happy birthday to @Dave7 🎂
The excitement / dread continues to rise as, after a weeks delay tomorrow is " rip out the kitchen day " with a skip to arrive first thing. As ever there's a few extra costs, water treatment unit, new radiator and new downlighting. Biscuits stock has been boosted and milk purchased for the workers ( neither Mrs Tkk or myself drink dairy)
I expect it will take a short period of adjustment to get used to the induction hob once the gas to the kitchen is removed and capped, just the heating/ hot water to go and we'll be all electric ⚡️

Personally I’m a bit fed up with dogs in pubs, (and cafes and shops) there was a full on fight between two dogs recently in my local, no one seemed that bothered about it, I go to the pub for a bit of peace and quiet. These days it’s like a canine drop in centre.

My sentiments too. There is a cafe we used to frequent when cycling, but, it became popular with dog walkers. Constant barking. We found another cafe.

I know it's dreadful behaviour Dave. I raised my sons to be diehard Rovers. We all know the priority for Saturday afternoons. The faithful are called to gather at Ewood. Last autumn two of them arranged granddaughter's birthday parties for Saturdays when Rovers were at home. I had words, I suggest you give your daughter next season's fixture list.

Oh, yes. Happy Birthday. Enjoy. Wolves were poor at our place. 🥂🎂🍾

Good morning. It looks as though we will have a fine day, at least not biting cold as the wind has shifted. This is important as I have bicycle related tasks to carry out. The first is TLC as my Kinesis is unclean. Secondly I'm determined to get to grips with the Shimano di2 app. Thirdly on Thursday's ride the rear deraileur stopped shifting. I need to check for loose wires etc. It cut out for 3-4 miles and then suddenly restarted at the bottom of the 3.5 mile climb to home...........it may just have been teasing me??????

Now if any of you follow the football thread you will realise something has happened. For the first time in +/- 15 years Paul is becoming obsessed with the results. My boys are doing very, very well and the results of matches for eight other clubs are important to me. This is a very nervous time and not good for a man of increasing years.

I am tackling a dilemma. This is a comment, I'm not trying to start a debate. I have thoughts of cancelling my Strava and RWGPS subscriptions, emailing the companies and explaining why. By this standard I shouldn't use Google or Android. It is a dilemma.
