Škoda’s back - EML is off, drives OK. Fingers crossed for tomorrow…

Daughter is collected from college, home for the half term break. Son has broken up from school too. This’ll be my first school break as a retiree, so the whole family will be at home all day (notwithstanding various outings). Fingers crossed for next week…

Lets just say that SWMBO has been having problems with computer security

starting with Patient Access - which has apparently upgraded they security - but would not accept the old security first and needed an app installing as well
God only knows how they expect older people to manage this

anyway we got through that without too much requirement to trauma counselling
then the landscapers asked for a review and unfortunately sent the link to her and not me

so she typed in a long, long and very well thought out review - and then lost it all when it asked for a password
anyway - got that sorted after only another 45 minutes and typing in the review 3 times on a phone!
then she wanted to do the same review on Google - he had offered us a £30 M&S voucher if we did 2
I managed to get the first review back and copy the text - couldn;t cope with that bit again!
but that required "the other password" - the one we had to set up a few weeks ago that required far more characters and number and special characters and all that
anyway - she got that done - somehow

so - result - all done
and I now know her password

she will freak if she ever sees mine and tries to work out how I remember it!!!

Barnet,
Good morning all fellow retirees.
Another cold start to the day here with rain forecast for much of the day.
Like @Dave7 I am listening to Tony Blackbum on the radio whilst drinking tea.
All the usual things to do today, dig walking, domestics but I'll try to get out on the bike for a while, or do an hour or so on the turbo while listening to the football on the radio this afternoon.
MrsP wants a Chinese takeaway tonight, we are lucky that there is a very good one nearby, so no cooking today. :hungry:

We have a decent Chinese here too but I’m not that keen on Chinese. I prefer Indian, of which we also have a decent one. The Gurkhas. We have a chippie too, however I never seem to bother with any of them. Must be several years since I last went up for a fish supper.
