good morning folks, caught up with the thread and saw that I hadn't posted the message I composed yesterday 🤔
A lovely card from Mrs Tkk, it's a bit of a leg pull each year, nothing with teddies or other naff sentiments and then the card with the greatest area is deemed to have won. Yesterday's rummage through the depleted stock in our local card shop left me with a dilemma, a smaller card with tasteful sentiment, or a larger card with fluffy teddy bears. In the end I went full naff, the cheesiest card I could find, so cheesy it even had a " Wonderful Wife " badge attached.
Our new kitchen has been delayed for a week, our plumber popped around for a look at where he could install the water treatment unit and after a long natter about various topics he's also going to fit a new, larger radiator in the kitchen.

On my walk yesterday I was listening to an episode of " Sliced Bread ", a BBC Podcast. The product under discussion was boiling water taps and the efficiency and economics thereof. Among the experts in the studio was a lady who ran her own plumbing company, with all of the plumbers being female. I smiled when I heard that the company name was " StopCocks Plumbers " 😁

A chilly 6 mile hilly walk done. I was toasty on the way up but got cold on the descent.

It's got worse

The bits I have watches over the last few years seem to only have people who look more like "influencers" that people who could run a proper business

none of them look like they could be trusted to deal with a proper problem in the real world and they are more concerned with being a celebrity

Last time I watched an episode it was more like a version of Love Island transplanted to London than something connected to business
