WHich is a pain because SWMBO has an appointment today at the beauty place for $somnethingorother
(compulsory - don;t know why because she is always beautiful to me)

anyway - so I have to go out soonish

in the meantime - I'm worried
most house I can see from the front windows have put their recycling bins out
It is Thursday (I had to check!) but when I checked it said the collection is tomorrow

so I'm unsure whether to take the high road (and be smug) and leave it - or join the sheep just in case there has been an announcement I have missed!!

At least they did a modicum of research. She was a vice-president of the IMF and does seem to be the director now.

I have reversed my earlier decision and won't be going to the pub. It's still - 2° and I am told the roads are lethal. I am not that keen on a pint.

-4°C and bright sun, although the sun is also very low and very little is falling on the house/garden. Our semi-industrial oil boiler is having a hard time keeping the house toasty!

Had a very late night so just got up. Mrs SD still recovering and is in 'thinking about getting out of bed' mode.

We may go for a walk and we may, yet again, try and find the enthusiasm to put up the new curtains.

If we don't get out I will use the treadmill and turbo instead. Getting very worried about doing my January ride for the CC 50 k/mile challenge.

Other things:

Mrs SD has pulled the front of a drawer, from a chest of the things, off. The dowl rods need regluing - one for me to attend to. 🙂

Can't wear a plaster cast, they reckon I'm allergic to what they use. First and only they've put on me had my lower leg and foot redder than Rudolph's nose in an afternoon.
That was 24 years ago, 18th november 2000.
