@numbnuts regarding printers. Our use is very infrequent and low. We have an HP3700 ink jet. It's small, compact, wireless, scanner, printer, copier. It sits in the bottom corner of a bookcase in our dining room. It never receives any attention other than a dust if it's dusty. Completely reliable and decent every day printing. Occasionally the wireless connection fails. This means the user, me, has forgotten to switch the printer on before booting the laptop.

From memory it was £35, and definitely no more than £50. I always buy HP branded ink cartridges as I feel this helps maintain the printer. I might buy two or three cartridges in a year so price isn't a consideration.

If that suits your needs I would recommend looking at the current equivalent HP. For occasional home use I don't feel it's necessary to spend more than £50.

At work we always used HP printers, laptops, screens docking stations etc. Completely reliable and decent quality.

Good morning all.
A cold but dry start to the day here. -3⁰c at present. It's due to get much colder tonight.
MrsP has a hospital appointment, so I will drop her off there and find somewhere to lurk in the car as the car park is always rammed by 9.00, and is expensive if you are lucky enough to find a space.
All the usual things to do today, dog walking, domestics and some general tidying up.
Enjoy your day everyone.

I did take a wander around the garden at 05:00 to see if the stars were twinkling but there was a light cloud cover so not many were visible, sadly ☹️

Might walk to Wimborne later, there's something I need to get, if I can remember what it was🤔
First I will make a Barm Brack, the fruit has been soaking for 36 hours and counting. I'm experimenting with my soak mix and the fruit is soaking in Camomile tea and Cherry Brandy, will report back if it is successful.
Have a peaceful day folks ☕️☀️

The road conditions are very patchy. Some have been gritted and are OK, some haven't. Mountain roads are a no no and in some towns its not good either.

If anybody is in the market for an electric blanket , I bought a Mia&Coco blanket from Amazon a few months ago , its bloody great ! cost 49Euro for a double . I have blankets for king size which cost 270 euro from well known brands which can't compete with it at all. I don't know will it last years but so far its been absolutely brilliant

We just bought an electric blanket as ours was years old already. Thanks for the offer though.
