Good morning. I wasn't expecting this -4⁰ and snowing. Just had a look at my calendar. I've got a spin class at 9.30 and then nothing booked till 10.00 Monday. That is unusual.

I must crack on. I need to leave at 8.55. Getting the garage door open will be a struggle, the village road will be sheet ice and if school is open bang in the middle of deliver little Johnny to school hour.

@numbnuts regarding printers. Our use is very infrequent and low. We have an HP3700 ink jet. It's small, compact, wireless, scanner, printer, copier. It sits in the bottom corner of a bookcase in our dining room. It never receives any attention other than a dust if it's dusty. Completely reliable and decent every day printing. Occasionally the wireless connection fails. This means the user, me, has forgotten to switch the printer on before booting the laptop.

From memory it was £35, and definitely no more than £50. I always buy HP branded ink cartridges as I feel this helps maintain the printer. I might buy two or three cartridges in a year so price isn't a consideration.

If that suits your needs I would recommend looking at the current equivalent HP. For occasional home use I don't feel it's necessary to spend more than £50.

At work we always used HP printers, laptops, screens docking stations etc. Completely reliable and decent quality.

Thank yo for that
