Pretty successful day - cycle wise

managed to get out for a ride
basically went on my normal ride - but I normally avoid it in winter (ish) as the canal path is muddy and wet

basically - at some point I would have been better of with a rudder instead of handlebars!!
and otehr bits were "interesting" with road based tyres through 3-4 inches of mud on a varying surface underneath

still - didn't fall off

got home and recovered for a few minutes
then hosed the whole bike down
then dried it off with the leaf blower

well - mostly
at the end I realised that it was starting to rain and I was rapidily reaching the point where the rain was getting it wet quicker than I was drying it so I got it into the shed quickly and locked everything up

got in before it started raining properly

ALSO - first ride this year with no jumper - just t-shirt and waterproof!!

Mrs D rushed to hospital again this evening. She never recovered properly from the pneumonia, and it seems she has a very bad infection still. The doc was concerned about septicemia if not addressed speedily so they're keeping her in on IV antibiotics, and kicked me out before I explode with rage (long story but im not interested in their petty inter departmental squabbles when my wife is in a lot of pain). I arrived home to a txt message rrom Mrs D telling me how the next patients family werent quite as stoic as me and kicked off.

Only saving grace is hossy is less than two miles away now we've moved.

Good morning all, a thin covering of overnight snow currently being washed away by rain, 3° with an E wind, lovely !

Good morning.
A puzzle.....during the night I won £100 on one of those lottery ticket things.....so why can't I find it this morning?
I got my new singing dancing chair yesterday. The 2 seater is some weeks away yet.
