Just been for an evening walk as I was feeling restless. Came back with a bunch of bananas from the Co-Op and a 5Kg tub of Mortar from Screwfix 😁. In other news it seems Storm Kathleen will be powering lots of wind farms tomorrow. I just got tomorrows electricity rates from Octopus and between 9:00am and 4:00pm tomorrow they will be paying their customers to usee ellectricity😮😎

Just watching one of the Health programmes
They are looking at what a family of 4 eats

quite healthy mostly

EXCEPT for the take-away - they spend a normal amount of proper food
PLUS £15,000 a year on take-away on top of that!!


They are apparently having trouble saving enough money for a deposit on a house!

Good morning all. It's a clear sky at the moment and the strange yellow thing is just coming up.
The cats and the dog have been fed, and I'm on my first mug of tea whilst listening to Tony Blackbum on the radio.
A nice long dog walk will be had before we stop at the Mitre on the way home for a spot of lunch.
There's the Wimens Paris-Roubaix on the telly this afternoon and I've got a couple of films to watch this evening, Schindlers list, and Saving Private Ryan which I've had recorded ages ago but have never seen.

A trip to parkrun this morning, we're putting the makings of a loaf in the bread machine soon so it's ready when we get back. Sky is blue and the wind has calmed down. Have a peaceful day everyone 😎☀️👍

Good morning, grey here but it’s mild and has almost stopped raining.
Yesterday’s tv included the welcome spring returns of Beechgrove and Landward, two favourites in the BBC Scotland output. And also enjoyed the conclusion of Michael Portillo’s trip around the north of England, gave me a few ideas for places to visit at some point.
