And some clothes too if I'm having dinner!

Word has it that he also makes good doughnuts.

Just done mine as it’s the time of year the doctor wants to check my b/p and meds .
So b/p is 132/78 so happy with that .
But just got on the scales , bearing in mind I’ve also been 10st 10 for most of my adult life. 14 st 4lb 🙁🙁
Looks like I am going to have to pull my finger out ( mostly out of the fridge it would seem 😀) and do something about this before it becomes a problem .
I am going to use you all as my conscience and I will post my weight again at the end of April and if I havnt lost weight you can all tell me off. 😂

Just come back from taking SWMBO to the dentist - which she has to pay for as there are no NHS places here

anyway - as we parked in ASDA (it is across the road) we went in for some bits

Problem is that she - like everyone I have ever had any kind of "relationship" with - walks around a supermarkets a LOT slower than I do

and took the opportunity to look at all the things that she can;t trust me to get on my own
things like the right shade of lipstick (I only know primary colours)
and things like that

so it took about 90 minutes

thing is - with me I can walk fast for ages - no problem
I can cycle (OK with a motor) for ages at a reasonable speed

but walking slowly kills me!!!

so I am k******d

Good evening. Met Office? Pah!! Warm and sunny was the promise. We got cold and grey. Fortunately I dressed for what I thought would happen and didn't freeze on the bike.

What else? Today, nothing. Mrs P complained there wasn't enough cheese sauce on the pasta and broccoli bake. I said nothing but feel she was on dangerous ground.

My eldest boy took us all out for lunch yesterday. I asked to go half or pay for Mrs P and I but he wouldn't hear of it. He and I chatted about our France trip. The plan is to ride Le Tourmalet in mid August. 11.6 miles, 4200 feet, 7.4% avg.........I've identified a couple of local hilly circuits for training.

My left shoulder is very uncomfortable. I think I slept on it.
