I've been shopping. The other day I received a shopping voucher from the council for £20 it's for people that are on housing benefit, I have had them before, I tried to use it today.........invalid Oh well God knows who needs it most and it wasn't ME
Todays lunch will be salmon with a hollandaise sauce, mashed potatoes, carrots and peas

Grumpy today!

Weather is cold and grey despite the Met Office assuring us that it was going to be full sun and quite warm all day! What a waste of space these forecast services are.

Stayed in all day Saturday (and got up early) to await the United Utilities person to come and do our water meter 'survey' - no-one turned up, no one bothered to call.

And... we tried to contact them but no one answered the UU phone on Saturday (34 & 27 mins) or today (29 mins) - I think they employ the same people to answer the phones as other companies with similar issues: WFH-ers that fit work in around dog walking, DIY & gardening.

Filled a contact form in, took ages, submitted it and got an Error 703 response!

Finally found an email address to use, sent it off, and got an auto-response saying they will get back to me within 10 days.

Stellar service - not!

spent god knows how long I spent trying to change the clock on the cooker yesterday thought it was AM PM Once i twigged it was set on 24 hour took me about five minutes I plead old age

Went to look at the Bantam that was for sale and my mate bought it. I'll probably end up doing the engine for him.
