I know you know this but there is not a high volume of calls

There is a low volume of manglement willing to pay for staff to man the phones

I used to work on the computer systems of a call centre - I know how they work and a guaranteed answer in 10 seconds is perfectly achievable

Just saying - I'll get off my hobby horse now!!
Worked in a call centre where the rule was incoming calls had to be answered on the third ring.

Good morning from a soon to be sunny Dorset. Ernie has awarded me £325 this month 👍. Not sure what the day holds but we're going for nibbles and wine at a friends house this evening, be good to have a natter and catch up. One of our running friends has taken another tumble, just cuts and grazes fortunately. He's 78 and still doing parkrun 5k in 21 minutes 😮, he tripped after he'd finished his run, tired legs I expect.
Have a peaceful day folks ☕️☀️🦔

Wow. That’s mighty impressive at 78.

You must have got my share from Ernie. Nothing for me this month.

A chilly start here. It’s not much above freezing just now but another great day to come :sun:

The " Big One " for you next month then Mo 🤞😁
Ian, the lad who took a tumble, is about 5'4" and you'd find more fat on a butcher's pencil. He also has / had an England Athletics Vest 😎

I have an appointment in a few weeks

main problem I seem to have is that my glasses are covered in scratches and they are starting to affect what I can see

I suspect that when I get new lenses then I will see a whole new world!!

also thinking at getting some different ones for cycling
not "proper cycling" glasses - because TBH I would look like a pratt
(OK OK - more of a pratt)

but something with a bit of wraparound to keep the worst of teh pollen out and mean that when a rock the size of a CyberTruck (other names are available) comes flying rigth at me then I am not worrying that my main glasses have been killed!!!

My cycling glasses are tinted wrap around prescription. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Good morning all.
A cool 4° and very dark.
I was enjoying a good solid sleep (for a change) when the need for a pee woke me up at 5. Shame really but I was 'awake' then so have got up.
Which makes me think (dangerous thing to do)........who used to say "I've arrived and to prove it I'm here"?
I could Google it but it is more fun asking you.
