The only thing I have to change is my watch and the car clock, although I haven't actually changed it in 14 years. I did read somewhere ( whether it's true or not) is that you can be fined for not doing so.

That sounds like the sort of article we get in the Liverpool Echo
"WARNING - your could be FINED £5000 for doing this innocent thing in your car"

and it turns out that they are talking about eating in your car
IF you are eating a Big Mac and chips using 2 hands while driving along a motorway

In other words - not being in control of the vehicle and not just eating anything as they suggest

Was going to message you.
Antiques Roadshow tonight if from Swanage Pier.
That's near you isn't it ?

It is indeed Dave. A lovely place, still has charm and several really nice pubs. When I did the Coast Path in 2007 ( it surely can't be that long ago 😮 ) Mrs Tkk met me when I reached Swanage and we walked the last few miles together. I used to walk from home down to the Chain Ferry then along Studland beach, past Old Harry and then over the top of Ballard down to drop into Swanage. Bag of chips on the Pier and then get the bus home.
Two of my friends are Swanage born and bred, both brothers. When visiting we would visit a couple of the pubs and end up in the Con club. No particular affiliations but it had the cheapest beer in Swanage which is why a lot of locals drank there. Back then the Club Steward was a local lad, quite a character, and I burst out laughing when I first spotted that his leather belt had a metal buckle that was the iconic image of Ché Guevara 😂

If I have no appointments I change the clocks early during the day before and I don't notice the change
