Did anyone get thunder yesterday ? We got one massive bang. No lightning to my knowledge, just one humongous clap of thunder.

Good morning folks, don't feel too bad after a few pints, a pizza and a large glass of wine. Race starts at 09:00, Mrs Tkk is a " did not start " due to knee problems. It's her birthday today. I will run with daughter, a run / walk strategy has been decided. Cool with a bit of drizzle so ideal conditions 👍

which is good the grass suffered a lot when the landscapers were here so it needs it

no thunder here that I heard sure you weren't dreaming it??

anyway - nothing special to do today
we were hoping that we would be taking the grand-daughter climbing, we pay for membership and she used to be really keen
we even took her to some one-to-one lessons for Christmas
but her parents are not very encouraging - even though it is the only physical activity she does other than family walks

but apparently "she isn;t feeling well" - which I think means she want to stay in her bedroom on her ipad!

I have suggested we take the whole lot out for a walk somewhere interesting

but they seem focussed on the upcoming wedding and seeing us seems to have taken a back seat unless they need the kids picking up from school or something - which is getting a bit upsetting


anyway - F! race to watch as soon as SWMBO is up and awake (which are 2 very different things!!

Morning all

Enjoyed a nice round trip on the WSR yesterday, but my God was it crowded! Fortunately, we blagged a compartment with our mates.
On the railway again today; will walk to Watchet station, hop on the train for a couple of stops to Williton, then go to the Railway Inn for lunch.
