I have just googled it.
If I read it correctly there is a school in a multi racial area (as many are now) that have included some 20 celebration days of eg Hindus, siks, Muslims etc but in order NOT to offend people they have banned Easter.
Unbelievable.

I had some chicken and tomato along with some little red peppers filled with cream cheese that I spotted in the supermarket. Shame they were in vegetable oil. Would have been much better in olive oil.

I suspect there is more to that than the article you read has reported

e.g. they might have simply said something about Hindu celebrations in the morning and added stuff for them into the RE syllabus (which is compulsory) and suggested that teachers remove some of the "making Easter Bunny" type activities as the majority of the kids are not Christian anyway

That would be enough for "some sources" to make out a headline

No one has banned Easter, in the same way no one has banned Christmas and no one has ever banned poppies.
A simple google search reveals the truth about the story.

Its simply part of this fake outrage . 😀
