120kg? 😲 😀
"The recommended weight limit for a Brompton bicycle is 110 kilograms (242 lbs) for the rider and luggage combined."

It's a higher recommend weight limit than a Brompton, now isn't it...🤣🤣🤣

Looking at the bike above I fell into the wormhole and saw a Tyrell Ive folder, which appears to be quite a neat package with mostly standard parts (but it seems not available in UK)

OK I need to weigh my rucksack. I think I might be close to the limit since I was 97kg last weigh in. My sack feels heavy but should be ok and not 10kg but I never thought I could get close to the weight limit of a Brompton. Strange it is so low compared to another brand considering Bromptons are designed for taller people than most other folders are.

PS this is from a retailer who specialises in folders I once spoke to. His 30 day no quibble return guarantee meant he would not sell me a tern or dahon due to my height. Since then Tern altered the website to have a higher max height on the bike that back then most suited my needs so I could fit it in the end, but not convinced.

So what folding bikes that are faster and lighter than Brompton would you say could comfortably fit a 196cm male rider of 97ish kg weight and his luggage (on his back)? Preferably one that would be funded by the Brommie sale.
