Slowly working through the upgrades, (Carbon bars, carbon seat post, pedals etc) I`m looking to with each small upgrade to make this lighter. Recently been looking at screws on A/express as well as a new chainring. Can I go from a 50T to a 48T with problems or do I need to switch the chain.

Anything else I can do ?

I replaced the standard 7mm handlebar clamp bolt with a titanium one from SJS. Mine was for aesthetic reasons as I wanted it black to match the colour scheme.

I think the simplest / best value weight savings are:
1) Seatpost & Pentaclip replacement - Carbon post with built in saddle mount
2) Titanium bottom bracket
3) Swap inner tubes to TPU, something like the RideNow ones from AliExpress (Avoid the Tubolito ones, they're overpriced)

A carbon seatpost that long. Am I right to be wary?

I've been running H&H carbon seatposts for quite a while now with no issues. They do publish test / certification docs with them so at least they have done some testing. Not sure the same can be said for some of the cheaper offerings from Aliexpress etc!
