Brompton Freewheel Sticking

The freewheel on my 6-speed Brompton 'C' has gradually become sticky over the last few weeks. Is this a known issue, and is there any solution apart from replacement? It looks like a freehub system, but I'd like to know how to deal with it before I start taking things apart; do I need any special, Brompton/Sturmey Archer specific tools?

I had that happen on one (non-Brompton) bike when I overtightened the quick release.

The problem went away when I adjusted it properly.

Try going on the main Brompton site. You may have to set up an account by registering your bike but they have training and service videos covering common service issues. They also have a contact system where they answer technical issues, reasonably promptly too.

I could think of a few other manufacturers that could learn from them.
