Pompey lost again, but just out of the drop zone. At least the neighbours lost again.

Following Liverpool's win both Gakpo and Salah talked about staying humble in their post match interviews. Erling's going to have plenty of time to live that remark down…

What are the odds that Postecoglu is next for the chop.
Spurs are falling apart and he has openly said that he refuses to change his style of play.

Looking at Spurs goal dlfference (+13 iirc) they've clearly been winning big. Clubs around them are nowhere near that figure. Perhaps he would argue (with some validity) they're doing something really well, its getting the wrong bits sorted .

His arrogance will be his downfall IMO, though I guess a stratospheric ego is something Levy may respect.

Another manager who's had his stock boosted by achievements with Celtic.

Ewood Park is sold out for next Saturday's east Lancashire derby. Rovers (5th) v Burnley (3rd). Even in the Premiership days I can't remember the ground being completely sold out.

This is a big top six match. It's the biggest Rovers v Burnley game I can recall in 50+ years. Ewood is going to be a cauldron, white hot. I'm very excited already.......and we have two games before then! 🤣

EDIT - that's available seating. Burnley have been limited to 3000 seats in an 8000 seat stand.

West Ham came out with the attitude of "lets try and not concede as many goals as possible".
You cannot do that against a team as good as Liverpool.
David Sullivan won't sack Julen Lopetegui because he doesn't like putting his hand in his pocket and pay compensation. He will be content if we avoid relegation.
Oh and i don't want David Moyes back!

Another home defeat for Utd. They weren't in the game till the last 20 minutes (imo).

And Chelsea lost 2 nil to Ipswich.

At this rate, it'll be 25 years (again) between titles for Utd. One half-step forward, two steps back. Could be in serious danger of relegation if their performances don't get any better, and the Championship wouldn't be that easy to get out of again. Sacking Amorim, if they go down that route, won't help, and it's hard to see how the squad can be turned around in a few transfer windows (with him or yet another new boss) with increasingly awkward finances.
