its only personal, if they havent already told people...if you have told people in many different threads already, then its no longer personal information. Its already out there, for people to ask questions about.

Maybe you missed that bit in my last post.

No, it is always personal. There is a difference between personal and private. It is no longer private information if it is out there in multiple places, but it is still personal.

"Personal" just means it is about your or your lifestyle, as an individual person.

Good for both parties I reckon. I hope he does well.

In that he's away from the toxicity of Goodison Park, then yes.

He'll get them fired up, if nothing else. Anyone he considers not to be pulling their weight will be gently encouraged to try a little harder.

you'll be glad to hear i deleted my post enquiring about your inside-leg measurement
Ah yes, footy .... Bielsa chewing over the Toffee's by the sound of it?

Everton can't score, but their goal difference isn't too disastrous.

If Bielsa's in charge, it will be.

Kolo Toure, the latest "big name" manager to be given the chop, from Wigan. Always enjoyed watching him play.

Quite like Wigan too. An absolute basket case of a club financially, but still. I suppose the blue and white stripes helps!

Well, if his tenure at Leicester was considered you would have to wonder who would employ him. He was defensive coach at Leicester over periods when the Foxes created all sorts of records for conceding early goals, for conceding the most goals from corners and high balls into the box. Since Toure left and Leicester employed Lars Knudson as their set piece coach their defensive performance has improved measurably. The Foxes apparently received " significant compensation" from Wigan for taking Toure while still under contract.

This surprises me to be honest, hadn't realised he was in that specific a role. For a unit of a defender, he really should have been better at that job!

It does re-enforce my idea that quality players do not often make good managers. Zidane maybe? Simeone? Robson was fairly useful too. Beckenbauer. Dalglish.

I'll be missing people obviously, but isn't a particularly long list.

Andy, I think the 'on field' organisational side of football
managership is 'over blown' The most important attribute of a successful manager ( imo) is man management. This is why most managers have a 'sell by' date, maybe 18 months - 3 years. Players can only hear a managers views and opinions so many times before they get 'hackneyed' There are always exceptions of course, e.g Alex Ferguson but he (with others) had the advantage of being able to constantly refresh his squads (fresh ears)
