Jim Goodwin, the Aberdeen manager who lost to Darvel has finally been sacked after a 6 nil drubbing against Hibs. The statement must have been written during the game, as the news broke 20 minutes after the game finished and Jim cut a forlorn figure as pictures emerged of him walking across the pitch as both teams were still warming down, heading for a side exit with his bag over his shoulder. Absolute shambles at the moment in Aberdeen.

No that's for sure, but still poorly treated in the end.

Not sure what has went on up there, but he's a good guy, but obviously just lost control.

Definitely badly handled.
But Goodwin didn't sneak out the back door .

Yes, he did! We spent the second half in the new, very plush for football bar, which overlooks the ground with TV's showing the match live here and there. He/we got talking to a few Leeds fans who'd bought tickets for the home end, allowing them into the bar. All were well behaved and nice to chat too. I didn't see the Leeds fans leave, due to being in the bar till way after the game, but as far as I know they were also well behaved. My Leeds friend was so impressed by being able to sit in comfort, drinking beer while watching the match, which he said would cost 'an arm and a leg' at Leeds, that he said he'll be coming back to ASFC when Leeds aren't playing.

Some years ago I was given a ticket to watch lfc at Old Trafford. Unfortunately it was in the middle of the Utd fans.
I kid you not.......when Danny Murphy scored for Liverpool I really don't know how I controlled myself.

Only saw the latter part of the game and it seemed that Liverpool had forgotten that it was the ball not the player that was meant to be kicked. Brighton 2 Thugs 1
