Fingers crossed for an Accy win tonight in their FA Cup replay! Accy v Leeds this Saturday would be some occasion!!

They did.

According to the radio, tickets went on sale after the match. I hope with it being live on the BBC many will watch it on there and they won't sell out. Or if they do it'll be after I get mine tomorrow (hopefully).

Not a bad night in more ways than one for Stanley, as our nearly neighbours and capable of putting us in the drop zone last night, lost heavily at promotion chasing Ipswich.

TUE 24 JAN 2023 LEAGUE ONE
Ipswich Town 4 Morecambe 0

  • Ladapo (1'minutes, 16'minutes),
  • Chaplin (38'minutes, 45'+6minutes)

I guess it depends on how many Leeds bring / tickets they are given.

checking that leeds have 2632 / 50% of capacity. there was just under 2000 there last night which wouldn't have included that many Boreham Wood?

I'd get your skates on....

If anything like the match a few years ago between Arsenal and the Mighty Sutton, home tickets will sell out within an hour or two!

Accy do you fancy a ground swap.Play the game at Elland Road, give the team a day to remember,a big ground a fine stadium and great support. And all who want to see will get in.

I got to the ground to see a 'season ticket holders only today' sign. I was told they'd go on general sale from 9 am tomorrow. As I was driving away slightly disappointed in having to go back tomorrow and hope there'd be some left, I saw an old fellow steward. I was a steward there for 5 years, from 2003 till 2008. I told him I couldn't buy one till tomorrow. "Give me five minutes" he replied. He came back saying the ticket office were willing to sell me two tickets today, seeing as I'm ex staff. So, here they are!! The other ticket is for my Leeds Utd supporting friend. When I told him I'd have to wait till tomorrow he phoned LUFC to be told that 5000 of their non season ticket fans were in a phone queue for just 500 of their 2,600 allocated tickets, put aside for non season ticket holders! Why keep them queuing when they've no chance of buying one I don't know. Anyway, he's happy now, but knows he'll have to keep quiet if Leeds score, which they most likely will.

Thinking back to when I bought the tickets, the bloke behind the desk said "Is it two OAP concessionary tickets, or is the other one for an under sixty five"?, meaning he thought I was 65 or over!! I didn't correct him and tell him I'm only 62. Shut it, I said to myself, you're saving a fiver here!!:secret: Sometimes looking like an OAP while not actually being one has its advantages!!
